این بنا در دوره فتحعلی شاه قاجار و به دستور وی برای اقامت تابستانی در باغ بزرگی که هم‌اکنون دانشکده کشاورزی است بنا شده‌است. کاخ سلیمانیه و باغ زیبای مقابل آن و نیز ساختمان‌هایی که جهت ملازمین موکب شاهی تعبیه شده بودند، مجموعه اقامتی و فرماندهی کوچک و بسیار زیبایی را ایجاد کرده بودند که در حال حاضر ساختمان‌های ملازمین شاهی از بین رفته‌است.این بنا در دوره فتحعلی شاه قاجار و به دستور وی برای اقامت تابستانی در باغ بزرگی که هم‌اکنون دانشکده کشاورزی است بنا شده‌است. کاخ سلیمانیه  و باغ زیبای مقابل آن و نیز ساختمان‌هایی که جهت ملازمین موکب شاهی تعبیه شده بودند، مجموعه اقامتی و فرماندهی کوچک و بسیار زیبایی را ایجاد کرده بودند که در حال حاضر ساختمان‌های ملازمین شاهی از بین رفته‌است.
علت نامگذاری این ساختمان به پاس تولد سی و چهارمین پسر فتحعلی شاه با نام سلیمان میرزا ذکر شده‌است. در تالار این بنا، دو نقاشی از عبدالله خان نقاش باشی روی دیوارها کشیده شده که یکی تصویر آقا محمدخان و دیگری تصویر فتحعلی شاه و اطرافیانشان است. در تابلوی بارعام فتحعلی شاه، سلیمان میرزا به صورت کودکی در کنار تخت طاووس تصویر شده‌است این مجموعه در ایام عید برای عموم باز است

In the building of this building, two paintings by Abdollah Khan, a painter on a wall, is one of the image of Mr. Mohammad Khan and the other is the image of Fath Ali Shah and his surrounding. In the front panel of Fath Ali Shah, Solomon Mirza is portrayed as a child near the peacekeepers' bed. This collection is open to the public at Easter.
