معبد آناهیتای شهر باستانی بیشاپور در شهرستان #کازرون است. این اتاق چهارگوش در کنار کاخ #شاپور قرار دارد. هر ظلع آن 14 متر است و از سنگهای تراشیده شده و بدون ملات در دو جداره ساخته شده است. در درون معبد آب جاری بوده است.  #آناهیتا به عنوان ایزدبانوی آب های شناخته میشود. و با نمادهایی چون باروری، شفا و خرد همراه است. در مزدیسنا، آناهیتا دختر اهورامزدا و اسپندارمذ است.در اساطیر ایرانی او سرچشمهٔ همهٔ آب‌ها و منبع همهٔ باروری هاست. در ارمنستان او را زندگی‌بخش، مادر خِردها و خیرخواهِ همهٔ نژاد بشر می‌دانستند. از نظر لغوی آناهیتا  به معنی آن ناآلوده (پاک و بی گناه) است.

The Anahita literally means it is impure (pure and innocent).
